Graduation Cards As Unique As Your Graduate

Thanks to Basic Invite for sponsoring this post.

Spring is here and with it comes the start of what I like to call ‘celebration season’. From baby showers to weddings to graduations, there are many special occasions to celebrate during the spring and summer months. If you are throwing a party you are going to need invitations so I’m excited to be sharing about Basic Invite and their customizable graduation stationery, including invitations and announcements.

Basic Invite sets themselves apart from their competition in a few ways. First of all, they really allow people to customize their selected card by offering 180 different color options and the ability to change the color of each element on the card. This allows customers to make sure the card is exactly how they want it down to the littlest detail.

They also let you choose from over 40 different colors when it comes to your envelopes so that you can make your invitation stand out even before it is opened. All of the envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed. Another time saver? They offer a free address collection service to request your addresses with just three simple steps: share a link, collect addresses, and get free envelope printing.

Another thing I really like about Basic Invite is that you don’t have to cross your fingers and hope that the card looks as fabulous as you imagine it will. They offer instant previews online and the ability to order a printed sample of your actual invitation so you can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before you ever have to place your final order. I don’t know any other services that offer this!

No doubt in my mind that Basic Invite makes graduation season easier with their great line of customizable graduation announcement cards and invitations. Here are some of my favorite choices they offer:

I love this “status report” graduation announcement card that features the graduate as both a child and a teenager.

This floral graduation invitation is so pretty!

Proud parents will love this achievement focused graduation announcement that looks like an infographic.

I love that this picture perfect invitation features three photos but still has plenty of space for sharing information about the event and the graduate.

Did your graduate have an amazing senior photo shoot and you can’t pick just one image? Make a collage graduation card and feature all of your favorite pictures!

Looking for something a bit more simple yet elegant? These golden graduation announcements are classy.

This modern graduation announcement is simple and straight to the point.

Which card is your favorite? I’m really loving the photo graduation invitations!

Jar Of Wisdom And Love For A Graduate

Graduation season is just around the corner which means that many are busy planning parties to celebrate their graduate. There are a number of things to think about, from the food you’ll serve to the decor you’ll have to the gift you’ll give. Today I wanted to share an idea I had that is perfect for graduation parties but also doubles as a gift for your graduate.

I created a Graduation Jar of Wisdom & Love. This jar can be set out on a table at the party for guests to leave words of wisdom and love for the graduate. It’s simple to make, too! Just get a large jar and decorate it with ribbon or scrapbook stickers. Leave pieces of card stock, washi tape and a pen on the table with a sign asking your guests to leave their words of wisdom and love. When they are done writing their note on the card they can roll it up and wrap tape around it.

SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED:

Glass jar

Graduation cap for top of jar

Letters to spell out words on jar

Skinny washi tape

Card stock

Pens

Once the party is over you can put the lid on the jar and present it to your graduate. You could also roll up dollar bills and add them to the jar before you give it to the graduate (if you were planning on giving them money anyways). Your child will love all the advice and kind words from their friends and family members and will appreciate this gift for years to come!

What words of wisdom would you give someone graduating junior high, high school or college?
