The kids are back in school and today is the unofficial end of the summer season which means we all know the cooler Autumn air will be here soon. With it comes the start of football, pumpkin spice lattes and apple picking, along with the need for new back to school clothes. It will soon be time to put away the shorts and sandals in favor of sweaters and boots.

Knowing this, I recently went shopping at OshKosh B’gosh for some stylish fall looks. It’s one of my favorite stores for kid’s fashion and I’ve been a customer ever since my boys were babies crawling around in their little overalls. Denim has been a staple in my kid’s wardrobe for years because it’s comfortable, stylish and versatile. OshKosh B’gosh is one of the few places I buy jeans for the kids because their pants have adjustable waistbands for my kids’ tiny waists.

Along with a pair of dark wash denim jeans I bought a light jacket and a number of long sleeve tops. I love that denim jeans go with just about anything- from t-shirts and athletic shoes to dress shirts and boots. All of the shirts I bought looked great with the jeans and I was able to create a number of outfits with the same pair of dark wash jeans.

I noticed that this year I was drawn to a lot of blue and orange combos when I was shopping. Perhaps because of my love for our Chicago football team? Or maybe it’s because these colors will brighten up any dreary fall day, especially when paired with a smile!

My son is military and they are being relocated from Arizona to Delaware and the comment my daughter in law was just making the other day is they will have to get her all new clothes because she does not have any cold weather clothes for there.
