Learning Self-Help Skills With LYSOL No-Touch Hand Soap

(Disclosure: I received LYSOL No-Touch Hand Soap to review but all thoughts are my own.)

Jacob’s messy hands!

Do you have children who look like this after eating? I do! I have two of them. Jacob has pretty much mastered washing his own hands but my youngest is still working on this skill.

Lucas has recently entered the stage of wanting to do everything by himself and washing his hands is no exception. He enjoys playing with his food and, as a result, creates some of the messiest little hands I’ve ever seen. Before, he would go to wash his hands and leave the soap dispenser full of his food covered finger prints.

I recently learned about LYSOL No-Touch Hand Soap which helps reduce the spread of sticky fingerprints {and germs!} and couldn’t wait to try one out. The unit was really easy to put together and gives children the chance to do things for themselves without making a huge mess of the bathroom because all they have to do is hold their hand under the dispenser to get the soap. There is no need to touch anything since the dispenser has a sensor and dispenses the right amount of soap when a hand is held under it!

This past weekend, Lucas was able to eat his Easter candy, walk to the bathroom with his chocolate coated hands, and wash his hands on his own after I had turned on the water for him. He was proud of himself and I am proud of how independent he is becoming!
