Hickory Farms: Great Gifts & Charitable Giving

How’s the Christmas shopping going? Have a hard to buy for person on your list? Everyone has to eat so I think that a gift basket from Hickory Farms would be a great gift to give them this year. They have a variety of products from sausage & cheese to fruits & nuts to sweets & cookies that are perfect for any budget.

Hickory Farms has been around for over 60 years. Their Hickory Farms Signature Summer Sausage was recently rated the #1 Summer Sausage in America, winning the Masters of Taste Gold Medal for Superior Taste, in 2011. You can be assured that when you purchase something from Hickory Farms you will get quality and value for your money.

Hickory Farms is also a company that gives back.  Hickory Farms has eight products that they offer free shipping to military APO and FPO addresses, including the “Home for the Holidays” gift basket. Hickory Farms has a partnership with Share Our Strength (SOS), a leading national nonprofit organization that works to stamp out childhood hunger.  For each Party Planner gift box sold this holiday season, Hickory Farms will donate $5 to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign. To date Hickory Farms and its customers have donated $1.9 million. They have also has a partnership with Operation Gratitude – a national nonprofit that creates care packages for military men and women and their families.

I’m happy to support a company that supports others and puts together such fantastic gift baskets. You can read my review of the Pack and Go Picnic Tote that we received last month. We really enjoyed all of the delicious treats that were in it.

(Disclosure: Compensation and products for review were provided by Hickory Farms via MomTrends. I received a free sample of the product for the purpose of this review and to facilitate a giveaway.  The opinions expressed herein are those of the author and are not indicative of the opinions of Hickory Farms.)
