Jewelry That Can Dress Up Jeans & T-Shirts

I’ll be honest…I don’t dress up very often. Most days I’m wearing yoga pants and a comfy top that supports my favorite football team. My “dressed up” usually means jeans and a nice shirt so I wanted to check out ShopVault.com for some pieces of jewelry that can be paired with them.

Count Me Healthy Bracelets {Giveaway}

I love items that do double duty and the beautiful Count Me Healthy bracelet by Chelsea Charles is no exception. This bracelet acts as a functional health tool that helps women track daily goals because the bangles feature movable beads that can be used as counting tools.

There are different designs but I received the Galaxy Tri-Color Bracelet. The bracelet has 14k gold, 18k rose gold and 925 sterling all in one gorgeous bangle with new wave patterned beads and retails for $98.

 

Women use the bracelets to count daily glasses of water, fruit and vegetable servings, pounds lost, whole foods, number of workouts, etc. I chose to use my bracelet to count how much water I am drinking since I’ve been drinking way too much caffeine. I like that I’m able to have the reminder on my wrist so that every time I look down I remember to drink more water.

The bracelet is easy to use. You start with all of the beads to the one side of the bracelet. The bracelet is adjustable so once you have it on you can tighten or loosen it. After you choose a health goal you just move the beads to the other side of the bracelet, one at a time, throughout the day as you work towards the goal. At the end of the day you have a visual of how you are progressing towards your goal.

More Than Shoes At Zappos.com

When I used to think of Zappos.com I always thought of shoes. I honestly didn’t know that they sold anything else so when I was offered a piece of jewelry to review I was quite surprised. Zappos.com sent me a beautiful necklace made by Dogeared Jewels.

I love “mom” themed jewelry. This necklace has a nice little message that comes along with it. I love the look of the gold dipping as well because it adds a shimmer to the necklace.

It is definitely on the small side (above is an image of it in my 5 year old’s hand) but I think it’s perfect for women who want something sentimental but aren’t big jewelry wearers.

Zappos.com has other jewelry available for all occasions and themes. There are state necklaces and necklaces that signify friendship, love, and faith. They also have bracelets, earrings and rings.

Of The Earth Jewelry Review and Giveaway

With Mother’s Day coming up I’ve been checking out different “mom” jewelry. I loved Of the Earth‘s unique jewelry. They have beautiful nest necklaces and rings that can be customized by wire color, pearl color, and amount of pearls. Randee also makes initial jewelry and Verdigris Bird jewelry.

I chose to review a nest necklace with a “mother” bird and three pearls- two blue ones to represent my boys, Jacob and Lucas, and a cream colored pearl to represent Avery, Jacob’s twin I lost while pregnant. The necklace is beautiful in person…my picture of it really doesn’t do it justice!

I am excited that not only did I get to review a piece of jewelry from Of The Earth but I get to give a piece away here on my blog! One lucky winner will receive a nest ring. It would make a great sentimental piece for yourself or as a gift to a mom you know.

A Touch Of Silver Jewelry Review & Giveaway

I’m very excited to showcase the jewelry shop, “A Touch of Silver”. Sandi, the owner of the shop, sent me a beautiful necklace and earring set to review.

The first thing that I noticed was the way that the jewelry was packaged. Wrapped in beautiful paper, with a ribbon on the top, you could tell that Sandi takes pride in her business.

When I opened the box I found a wonderful beaded necklace and earring set. I had my younger sister put them on so I could take some pictures and the first thing she said when she saw them was “ooh pretty”. Here is a picture of the set:

Aren’t they pretty? I love the colors. This is what Sandi said about this set: “It is so versatile. Some people enjoy wearing larger jewelry and others wear smaller pieces. This one is perfect for either one.”

Here’s a little more Sandi shared with me in a letter: “I am a one-girl company and I really enjoy what I do! I love to help ladies be able to wear pretty jewelry without spending a lot of money. We are all on a budget or we need to be, especially now in this economy.” She also shared that if people do not see exactly what they are looking for they should just email her so she could work with them on getting exactly what they are looking for in a particular color or style.

I loved the beaded pieces but figured that since it was called “A Touch of Silver” there were probably other styles of jewelry in her shop as well. Sandi told me that she adds new pieces to her site approximately every two weeks so there are always new items to choose from. I picked out a few of my favorites to show you:
