Gifts That Give Back To Mercy House Kenya

(Disclosure: I joined in supporting this cause because it’s important to me and did so without expectation of receiving anything in return, however, recently I was sent some unexpected gifts as a thank you.)

Back in September I shared about a great cause I was helping support and raise money for called Mercy House. A group of bloggers came together with {in}courage with a goal of raising $74,000 by Christmas. The project was split into 5 phases and I’m so happy to share that the first four phases have been fully funded! These moms and babies now have a new van, new classroom space, a new generator, and computer lab. Now it’s time to work on funding a second home and we have a little under a month to raise the money.

We’d love if you’d help by donating money to the project. Another option is to purchase your Christmas gifts through Mercy House or to purchase select {in}mercy items from Dayspring because both donate a portion of the proceeds to the cause. You can give a great gift while doing something amazing for these moms and kids in Kenya. What’s better than that?

A Christmas Gift For Moms & Kids In Kenya

I know, I know…it’s still September and you probably aren’t thinking about Christmas yet but I am. I am honored to join in on a special project with {in}courage to raise money for Mercy House in Kenya.

The reason we are starting early? We have a goal to raise $74,000 by Christmas 2013. We’ve fallen in love with 12 teen moms and their 12 babies in Kenya. And we’ve got five special gifts we want to give them for Christmas this year. Van, Classroom, Generator, Computer Lab and New Home. This is Mercy House Kenya. They’re family and sisters you can meet without leaving home. Come to Kenya with us! Let’s give the gift of mercy together!

Wondering how you can help?

 You can….

Give – Donate towards one of these key projects.
Share – Share about this amazing work with your friends and family.
Rally – Ask people to join you in advocating for Mercy House Kenya.
