10 Ideas For Christmas Morning Breakfast

One Christmas tradition I loved as I was growing up was having a big breakfast on Christmas morning. We used to open our stockings from Santa, have breakfast, and then it was finally time to open gifts. My dad used to make casseroles for breakfasts but now that I have my own family we need to figure out what we want to make. Sinisa is European and loves making crepes with nutella so that is an option but I wanted to get some more ideas so I headed to Pinterest for some inspiration.

Here are 10 ideas I found {click on pictures to be taken to the posts they come from}:

Christmas Tree French Toast

Cinnamon Rolls with Pecans

Sausage and Egg Casserole

***

Spinach and Ham Omelet Rollup

***

  1. Such a timely post! Why didn’t I think of it? I’ve been searching the past couple of days for just the right meals for Christmas Eve day and Christmas day! That’s the problem with not having a bonafide “tradition” — every year I feel like I want to do something different in order to have really “special” Christmas food! Thanks for the ideas!

Found you at Top 10 Tuesday!

  2. These ideas are awesome! Those cinnamon rolls are so right up my alley… one of my favorite things to make (and eat)! I’m making french toast casserole (it’s a super amazing Paula Deen recipe) for my family on Christmas Eve, and on Christmas day we always eat this egg, bacon, cheese, etc. casserole for breakfast at my grandparents.
