Fall Table Setting Ideas From World Market

Since school has started, Summer is basically over in my mind. I’m thinking Fall and everything it brings including hooded sweatshirts, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, and time indoors. With time inside comes dinner at the kitchen table instead of picnics and dinner on the patio. I looked online at World Market’s website to see what items they had for decorating my table for the upcoming season. Here are some of my favorites:

Items I’d choose to decorate my table for Fall:

1) Amber Ava Goblets, Set of 4

2) 11″ Honey Soukra Dinner Plate

3) Indigo Organic Reactive Bowls, Set of 2

4) Hammered Salad Fork, Set of 4

5) Lisbon Serving Bowl

6) Dark Amber Fringe Napkins, Set of 4

I love that World Market has such unique pieces for my whole home at prices that fit my budget.

Spring Cleaning Challenge {With Big Prizes!}

Need some motivation to get Spring cleaning done? I know I do and I have found the perfect challenge with awesome prizes to motivate me to get our home back in order after being cooped up inside for months.

The areas that need the most attention in my house are the master bedroom {aka the catch all room}, the master bath {overflowing with beauty supplies, lotions, and a plethora of other toiletries}, and our kitchen cabinets/drawers. If I have extra time I also hope to tackle the boys closet, the laundry room, and the black hole under our couches where all the little toys disappear. At the end I hope to get rid of a bunch of items by selling things online and donating them to Goodwill.

Want to join me in the Spring Cleaning Challenge? Head on over to ‘I Dream Of Clean’ and find out how you can participate and have a chance at winning 2 washer and dryer sets from GE Appliances, a Shark steam mop, and a closet organizer from the Stow Company!

(Disclosure: I was not compensated for this post but I am writing it in hopes of having a better chance of winning one of the great prizes mentioned above- like the Shark Steam Mop which I desperately need around here!)

My Wonderful Walls Review & Giveaway

I’m excited to introduce My Wonderful Walls to you all! They offer imaginative wall stickers, wall stencils and canvas wall murals for kids’ rooms.

About My Wonderful Walls:

My Wonderful Walls is a modern day Mom & Pop online retail business operated by Michael and Stephanie Goins. The idea for the company was born after Michael hand-painted a mural in their older son’s new room. We knew that other parents would really enjoy doing this, but most lack the artistic training and/or confidence. So we decided to design products that would allow all parents (even the artistically challenged) to create wall murals themselves. We formed My Wonderful Walls in 2008 with a mere four wall stencil kits, and now we carry hundreds of popular product and ship all over the word. Each and every one of our products is designed and manufactured with tender loving care in the USA in beautiful Chattanooga, Tennessee.

My Wonderful Walls Review:

Heather from Full Price? Never! got a chance to review the wall stickers for her toddlers room! Here are her thoughts: “I am not a creative person, I wish I was but I’ve come to terms with it. I was so excited to try the wall stickers because even someone like me that lacks artistic skills can use them with terrific results! I’m always looking at my daughters boring closet doors and trying to think of someway to make them more fun for her… I finally found the answer! The stickers were very easy to use and absolutely adorable! The toddler agrees! The only problem I had was choosing from all of the themes they offer… farm, flower garden, transportation, jungle, dinosaur, princess, bugs, forest, fairy, cats & dogs, outer space, pirate, owls, dragon, monsters, circus, bugs, ocean, polka dot, clouds and more!”

GIVEAWAY:
1 Lucky winner will win any one item of their choice from My Wonderful Walls. This includes free shipping and is valued at $177! This giveaway is open to those with a continental US or Canada mailing address.

Decorating On A Budget

I love beautifully decorated homes but truthfully my house’s decor is pretty much non-existent. Part of this is because we are renting and can’t do much, part is because I have young children around, and part of it is because I just don’t have a lot of money to invest in decorating.

I was excited when Family Dollar contacted me about their decor line and challenged me to decorate a room on a budget. I eagerly accepted and headed to the store. I knew that Family Dollar had a great selection but I hadn’t really explored the home decor section before. I was going to decorate my downstairs bathroom but then decided that no amount of home decorating would distract away from the hideous fish wallpaper {I rent a home from a fisherman apparently…} so I instead decided to do my entryway.

Cute fabric "cubbies" for the toys. Two for $5 at Family Dollar!

Family Dollar had a bunch of rugs, some even larger area rugs. I chose a brown and tan one for in front of the door that was $5. I picked out a few prints for the wall, one for $3 and a couple for $5. I found mini-shelves for less than $10 and a small plaque on a stand for only $2. I added in a small figurine on one of the shelves. I spent less than $30 on this area but it makes my home look a lot more inviting, don’t you think? I’m excited to go back and get great deals for the rest of my home!

Want to decorate your home, too? Check out the great sale going on now and get an extra $5 off a $25 home decor purchase using the coupon found here!
