Movies On Demand {Visa Gift Card Giveaway}

It’s hard for our family to get to the theater. With busy work, school, and sports schedules we rarely have a few hours in a row where we are all home and don’t have anything on the calendar. Having a child with Autism makes it even harder because unless it’s a movie Lucas REALLY wants to see it’s not going to keep his attention and we won’t catch the whole movie.

We normally just prefer to watch movies at home. Redbox is great when I plan ahead for movie night but sometimes we just like to have a “surprise” movie night and that’s when we turn to Movies on Demand. We also love it when we don’t feel like going out in the rain or snow and when the kids are already in bed. MOD tends to be the cheapest option for our family because Redbox movies never get returned on time.

This Summer there have been a lot of great movie options on Movies On Demand. We finally watched Epic after missing it in the theaters. It was great to sit as a family in the cool house and relax before bed.

Right now I’m trying to decide which movie to watch next. Identity Thief looks funny and I love the actress in it. There’s a movie that has Ryan Gosling in it so I’m sure I would enjoy that :) Then there’s The Big Wedding that looks like it would keep me laughing all evening. Which one would you watch first?

  426. 1) Tell me which movie you’d watch first: World War Z – I have four kids (two with autism), so I don’t get out much; this way I can watch it at home after the kids are in bed without having to find an autism-friendly sitter! If I can stay awake, that is.
